CAREER SUMMARY
From 1994 to 2006, I was a Senior Manager for SBC Texas and AT&T Texas. I have extensive experience in all types of litigation, including automobile collision litigation, labor and employment discrimination litigation, antitrust and commercial litigation.
I first chaired over 20 jury trials, including a six-week antitrust trial. In addition, I have tried or supervised more than 200 labor arbitrations. I have also personally handled or supervised more than 100 mediations. This includes representing either the plaintiff or the defense position. I have supervised and trained approximately 35 attorneys, 25 assistants, and 5 paralegals during my legal career. I was selected as a Texas Super Lawyer-Civil Litigation, in 2005. I am a trained mediator in Civil Law and Family Law mediations. I currently handle approximately 100 mediations per year as a neutral facilitator. I have been selected to receive the Houston Bar Foundation award for Outstanding Contribution to the Harris County Dispute Resolution Center for 2006 and 2007.
I have been appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of the Harris County Dispute Resolution Center for 2007 to 2009. I am President of the Katy Bar Association (2010 to 2012). Since 2007, I have been Adjunct Professor at the University of Houston Law Center where I teach Trial Advocacy.

I supervised a staff of nine attorneys, one paralegal, and five assistants in Houston and San Antonio. Territory served included Metropolitan Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Beaumont, and the Rio Grand Valley, which covered a population of over eight million people and approximately 15,000 AT&T employees.
As General Counsel for AT&T Texas, I was a Senior Manager in the Company. I provided direct legal support for the President, AT&T Southwest Network Services involving centralized legal policy matters in AT&T Southwest's five-state operations.
I coordinated evaluations of claims against Network Services and developed preventive measures to avoid liability and protect the interests of the Company.
